The Passenger optimized van was a quick success. The Daihatsu Atrai was a fan favorite and with the addition of 4wd and turbos in 1984 it became the obvious chose for many. The 8th generation saw many improvements over its 5 production years. Starting with the introduction of 3 link independent suspension and antilock brakes. The engine also got an update with a 13.6% increase in torque on its 12 valve motor. This Daihatsu Atrai is ready fun in the sun. A turbo charged Kei van with lots of functional accessories. The vehicle comes with a very peppy Turbocharged engine mounted to a 5 speed transmission. Making lots of low end torque due to the engine update.
